Users that fill out the newsletter subscription form are submitting their name and email address to a third-party service. That service is Mailchimp owned by the Rocket Science group. This service sends the newsletters.
Third Party (Advertiser)
Only aggregate data is provided to describe the site’s audience. Offers either on the site or through the email newsletter may provide the third party with some metadata during the transaction.
Identifiable information such as name or email address will not be provided to third parties from either the site or its email campaigns.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
